## Get Java unit tests for your FINOS projects

Diffblue Cover is an AI-powered tool that automatically creates unit tests for Java code, hundreds of times faster than can be written manually. As part of our commitment to improving code quality in financial open source applications, we have made Diffblue Cover's CLI tool (usually only available as part of the [teams and enterprise plans](https://www.diffblue.com/pricing/)) free for use on FINOS projects.

This means FINOS members have access to the IntelliJ plugin, the CLI tool that fits in a CI pipeline, and the Cover Dashboard for advanced reporting.

- ###### **How do I use Diffblue Cover?**
  
   Cover is available as a CLI tool and as a plugin-in for IntelliJ IDEA. The IntelliJ IDEA Plugin can generate tests per method or per class within the IDE. The CLI tool works 100% autonomously, configuring itself from your Maven or Gradle environment, and can be used in a CI pipeline.
- ###### **How are Diffblue Cover's tests maintained?**
  
  Cover's regression suites are maintained automatically and updated with each new code version to capture the current behavior of the code.
- ###### **Do you have any examples of Diffblue Cover being used in a bank?**
  
  Diffblue Cover has been used by Goldman Sachs to create thousands of tests overnight. [You can read more in the case study](https://www.diffblue.com/goldman-sachs/).
